Job Description

Under the supervision of the Head of Preparations, the Part-time fabricator is responsible for overseeing the production of select exhibit elements that are produced in-house (these may be walls, partitions, casework, furniture, planter boxes, interactive cabinetry and all non-mount case internals). This person will collaborate regularly with the exhibits core team to determine the proper engineering approach for built elements, ensuring that a stable and safe environment is being created for both the visitor and the objects on display. They will assist with design tasks and object and exhibition installs and deinstalls as needed.
