Top Notch Rotational Nanny in Brooklyn!

125-140k+ DOE (benefits include PTO, healthcare stipend, relocation assistance)

• Start date: ASAP

• Location: Brooklyn Heights, NY

• Child: 2 years old (will be 3 in December) & 13 year old

• Schedule: Rotational or flexible for candidate’s preference

• Description of children: 2 year old attends an Reggio Emilia school in Manhattan 3 mornings per week, preteen attends school in Brooklyn.

• Responsibilities: Care is primarily for the family's 2 year old and occasional care to drive the preteen to after school activities.

• Requirements of nanny: Nanny must know how to swim and be flexible

• Ideal nanny is passionate, knowledgeable, collaborative (nanny may overlap with other nanny), discreet and professional. Their ideal nanny is upbeat and loves to play. Please be comfortable working around a household team.

• The family is seeking a team player who has a lot of experience with toddlers and who can help give their child space to both be independent and generate her creativity. Waldorf and Reggio Emilia mindsets work best in sync with them. They seek someone who can share ideas on child development and has good skills for scheduling activities and play dates, someone who can generate new ideas and activities that are age appropriate. They’d love a collaborator yet ultimately perspectives on developmental milestones like potty training would be something they’d love ideas about but the parents would initiate.

• Travel: Family travels two weekends per month to their Atlantic Highlands, NJ home and spends summers in Italy and other areas of Europe. They also travel at Christmas and in March during spring break. It’s important that their nanny be flexible to accompany them on their travels.

• Transportation: Nanny must know how to drive.

• Benefits: PTO, 40 hours paid sick time, health insurance stipend

Requirements:

• 8+ years professional nanny experience
• Extensive experience with toddlers
• Candidate must have drivers license
• Candidate must know how to swim
• Passport ready or willing to
• First Aid + CPR certified or willing to be
• Verifiable References

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
