Position Summary
The Account Manager leverages their customer-facing skills, and knowledge of J-Pac’s medical device contract manufacturing services to determine customer needs, develop proposals, and convert proposals to sales.
The Account Manager will develop an in-depth technical understanding of J-Pac’s capabilities and apply them to help solve customer challenges. The Account Manager must have an engaging, relationship-building approach combined with a professional and impactful presence in all communication with clients. An in-depth customer perspective is critical to success.
This position reports to the head of sales, currently performed by the CEO.

J-Pac is a mid-market (NH, USA, and Costa Rica) medical device contract manufacturer that focuses on single-use medical and diagnostic devices. It provides a high-quality, turnkey solution for assembly, packaging, and sterilization of low-volume and high-volume products.
Medical device companies come to J-Pac when they are on tight timelines to launch new products, lack internal resources to validate manufacturing, packaging, and sterilization, or seek the highest customer service levels and responsiveness from a manufacturing partner.
J-Pac is different from other medical device contract manufacturers because its turnkey services deliver the fastest time to market in the industry, with the highest customer support and technical expertise.
Job Responsibilities
There are three main aspects to the job:
1. New Account Sales – The Account Manager works with prospective customers to sell J-Pac’s services, which involves understanding customers’ needs, qualifying new opportunities and communicating J-Pac’s solutions, and presenting proposals. Most of this activity responds to incoming leads, outbound marketing programs, and tradeshows.
2. Account Support – The Account Manager is the key contact point for our customers. They maintain close relationships with customers conducting frequent check-ins, updates, and communication. They maintain a personal relationship built on trust and respect and provide exceptional and timely support.
3. Existing Account Growth – The Account Manager is responsible for growing J-Pac’s business with existing accounts. Relationships built across the customer’s organization are essential to identify new programs early. A strong relationship with engineering is required.

Technical Capabilities
- Ability to learn the technical services and products that J-Pac offers: assembly, packaging, and sterilization of single-use medical and diagnostic devices.
- Ability to learn the applications of customers’ products
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
Experience & Qualifications
· 5 years’ experience in a customer facing role within a manufacturing environment.
· Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts related to manufacturing.
Education
· BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
