HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • The Network Engineer will be responsible for working with Application Owners to administer and troubleshoot load balance technologies such as F5 and Citrix on various projects.
  • Configure, administer, document custom load balancing (F5/Citrix) technology solutions
  • High level troubleshooting of network and application issues
  • DNS, ADC, and CDN WAF administration
  • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Required Experience: 10 years of work experience
  • Require Technical Skills:
  • Experience with APIs, scripting, and Splunk data flows
  • Strong understanding of GSLB, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS
  • Citrix application configuration, integration, and administration expertise. Experience with F5 load balancer administration
  • Strong understanding of TLS1.2+ and SSL Encryption.
  • Proficient with application layer protocols – HTTP, SSH, SSL, etc.
  • Knowledge of TCP, understanding network and application traffic flows
  • Experience in load balancing techniques including detailed health checking, detailed rewrites and responder policies, Citrix gateway, AAA, WAF, OTP and balancing algorithms
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues including IPv6
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • Manages time effectively

  • Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers
  • Security Clearance Level: Public Trust; The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
