TITLE: Network Engineer - Cisco, WAN, ITIL

LOCATION: Portland, OR - ONSITE

PAY: Target pay for this role is between $50 and $58 per hour but may vary based on experience

ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract

DURATION: Contract expected to last 24 months

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• This is an Experienced Level Network Engineer, requiring at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Provides engineering and administrative support for enterprise network services and systems including local and wide area networking.

• In addition to designing, configuring, and troubleshooting existing systems, you will participate in a large technology overhaul that directly serves the public.

• This is a high visibility project that requires the successful candidate to innovate and research new approaches and solutions.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network or systems engineering required

• Five years of increasingly responsible experience in wide area network design, management and advanced diagnostics.

• Prefer Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP).

• Ability to install, configure, administer and troubleshoot data, voice, and video network systems.

• Advanced experience managing diverse networks using a variety of transports.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working in a enterprise organization is ideal but not required

• Previous work experience in public sector is ideal but not required

• Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas
