In addition, we also have operations in AZ, CO, NV, OR, UT, and WA.

CR&R currently has an opening for a Infrastructure Engineer in our Stanton, CA facility. The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the infrastructure revamp effort at CR&R. Working under the VP of IT and the IT Steering Committee, the Infrastructure Engineer will design, plan and execute Cloud migration effort as well as on-premise infrastructure upgrades.The revamp effort includes installation of new technology for firewalls, switches, wireless access points, LAN, WAN, etc., plus virtualization and consolidation of on-premise and cloud server infrastructure. A strong combination of leadership, project management, technical, and communication skills is vital to this role’s success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead the design, planning and execution of the Cloud migration projects on AWS and MS Azure

· Lead the design, planning and execution of the on-premise network and devise revamp projects

· Lead the design, planning and execution of the server infrastructure revamp (virtualization, consolidation & optimization) projects

• Delivering secured & reliable on-premise and cloud platforms with optimum usage and efficiencies
• Owning infrastructure cost optimization and drive efficiencies across all environments
• Collaborating with the Security team on refining and deploying best practices to identify, detect, protect, and respond
• Develop policies & standards, and provide technical documents for all builds and maintenance procedures

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

· Data center infrastructure proficiencies:

• Date center design/revamp/consolidation

• Enterprise server virtualization

• Enterprise Storage system

• Enterprise data Protection

• Hybrid cloud infrastructure

• Cisco Nexus routing and switching

· Microsoft Operating systems (e.g., Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Security

· Expert knowledge in firewalls, rules and access lists (Barracuda – Meraki – Fortinet)

· Advanced skills troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.

• Solid grounding in core enterprise applications and technologies including Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, VMware, and network security fundamentals is highly preferred.
• Exchange and Office 365 Platform
• Backup and Archiving solutions
• Cisco Voice Call manager, Cisco Voice gateway and Cloud WebEx calling

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
