Job description

Funxion Rehab Centers is seeking a physical therapist with specialized training and/or experience in the field of neurologic physical therapy. Our clinic is a fun and energetic work environment where providing great care to our patients is our priority.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, physical therapists work with patients by:

• Reviewing patients’ medical histories
• Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patients with neurologic diagnoses or injuries
• Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ impairments and prevent further pain and injury
• Recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
• Educating patients and family members about the recovery process

Physical Therapist Requirements:

• Valid licensure in the state of Florida
• Compliance with state regulatory requirements
• Stamina

• Interpersonal communication skills

• Resourcefulness

Job Type: Full-time
