New Business Processor - Financial Services Firm

Maggi Tax Advisory & Financial Group, a financial services firm in Palm Harbor, FL, is looking to hire a motivated Full-Time New Business Processor to our team. Our New Business Processor will be responsible for various duties overseeing the application process for all insurance and investment policies and being a crucial player in developing and maintaining our client relationships. The position is in Palm Harbor, FL, but there are also locations in Lutz and St. Petersburg.

The ideal New Business Processor will need to have prior experience within the financial services industry in a new business capacity. Our ideal hire will also be able to bring the ability to provide our clients with exceptional customer service and must be outgoing, good with people and able to develop relationships.

New Business Processor Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Process new business applications with detail and accuracy and submit to appropriate carriers
  • Obtain necessary documents and signatures from clients for carrier approval
  • Enter and maintain client data into database system
  • Office Support for an independent financial professional office
  • Manage new business processes
  • Complete all new licensing requirements
  • Manage Calendar and schedule meetings for financial advisor
  • Maintaining professional demeanor with clients via answering telephone and emails
  • Multi-task and operate efficiently project deadlines
  • Preparing documents in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Greeting clients face-to-face
  • All other duties as assigned

New Business Processor Requirements:

  • Previous office management/administrative experience (Required)
  • High School Degree (Required)
  • Previous experience working in financial services industry (Preferred)
  • Prior experience in annuity, life insurance, or investment new business processing (Preferred)
  • Life & Health Insurance license (Preferred)
  • Must have a strong ability to be a self-starter and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills

Pay: $20-25/hr
