Job description

We are seeking a full-time Night Auditor for The Opal Collection.

The responsibilities of a Night Auditor include, but are not limited to:

• Reconcile all Food & Beverage outlet postings
• Run daily management reports off of the Property Management System (PMS) and POS System
• Make corrections and adjustments
• Ensure all guest accounts are accurately posted with room, tax and any additional charges
• Ensure the completion of all Point of Sale night audit functions
• Distribute all close of day reports and morning reports to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
• Perform daily backups on systems
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly
• Notify proper outlets when discrepancies arise
• Provide check-in and check-out assistance for guests
• Perform all activities in a professional manner
• Respond to any guest issues or hotel emergencies
• Work with other departments to ensure that quality service is delivered to guests

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel or accounting experience
• Must be able to speak, read, write English
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and excellent organizational skills needed.
• Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions.
• Knowledge of OPERA and related computer programs
