Responsible for overseeing the night operations of the hotel to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests & employees. Responsible for providing our guests with excellent service and respond to guests’ needs, requests and complaints. Act as liaison between all departments to ensure proper communication and teamwork is taking place.

Essential Job Functions

• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints.
• Interact positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and services.
• Handles guest complaints and requests. Resolve issues in a manner satisfactory to both the guest and the hotel.
• Monitor hotel business levels and direct associates to areas needing temporary assistance during peak times or during unexpected increases in volume in any particular area of the hotel.
• Regularly walk the lobby area and inspect for cleanliness, trays, security concerns, maintenance issues, noise issues, etc. and address such issues.as required.
• Promote open channels of communication between all hotel departments.
• Promote safe work practices. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and preventative measures.
• Coordinate and monitor for efficiency safety and security related programs for overall hotel including: evening lost and found process, issuance of hotel keys, fire preparedness training, and evacuation drills, etc.
• Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions such MOD report, GSL, Hot Sheet
• Confer and cooperate with other managers to ensure coordination of hotel activities.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Available for PM shifts
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or at least 2 years months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience previous
• Full service room’s operations experience required.
• Customer service and general computer experience required.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends and alternate shifts.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing.
