Job Title: Night Security Guard

Job Functions:

Check in with Front Desk for all pertinent information related to operations.

Sign out a Radio. Proper verbiage will be used during communication over all radio channels.

Security Post will be designated at the shack located on the first hole.

Security assistance for other departments. Including:

Banquets

Restaurant

Housekeeping

Golf Department

Operations

Observing entrances to the property and main buildings.

Assisting Banquets during event functions for any situation that arises.

Security officers have a high code of conduct.

Security is expected to comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Key Control - Confirming all keys have been signed back in and identifying employees who have not done so.

Inspecting shuttle carts for misuse or damage. Reporting on whoever signed it out last for investigation.

When requested, escorting employees to their vehicles.

Securing facility throughout the night.

Locking and unlocking facility.

Making sure Guest are safely in their rooms.

Assisting Front Desk Agents with guest issues.

First Aid and Injury - During an accident where an employee or guest is injured, a report will need to be completed and turned into the Front Office Manager. First aid will be given with the supplies provided in designated areas of the property. Emergency: During a larger incident a security guard will be required to have someone call emergency services if they are unable to do so.

Officer will observe and take action to correct safety hazards, security of guests, and protection of assets, criminal activity, and disturbances and render aid to those who need it.

Patrol Knowledge - Learn locations of entrance, exits, hallways and rooms.

Security will be responsible of utilizing the guard tracking system across the property. At the end of day uploading security checks to the computer for documentation purposes.

Patrol all areas of the property in a random, yet thorough fashion to complete the following:

Planned Routes

Guest Rooms

Golf Course

Main Building

Pool Area

Banquet Space

Security / Incident Report will be communicated every night with the following information:

Arrests of employees / guests

Removal of employees / guests

Employee Misconduct or Procedure violations

All injuries to employee or guest.

Medical emergencies

Property damage

Security will complete security reports daily in a manner that is clear, simple and direct.

Keeping alert to maintenance needs and reporting it to management.

When observing a person who does not belong in a particular location, inquire why they are there and escort them away.

No verbal escalations or arguing with compliant guests.

Security must maintain composure well above the level of those in contact with them.

Use of force will be used only as a last resort. Force may be used only to make a lawful arrest, detention, to regain personal property or to protect the safety of one's self or others.

All noise complaints will be documented. When receiving a repeated noise complaint; give the guest a clear statement of hotel's policy regarding noise complaints. (ie. The consequences to be expected should the complaints continue)
