Job description

• Manage, oversee, and direct all production team activities
• Communicate schedule changes to employees
• Ensure that work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized
• Ensure employees wear the required safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to the safety rules and regulation
• Ensure employees have proper tools and equipment needed for production
• Motivate the team to achieve daily targets
• Ensure accurate counts are assembled to customer specification
• Oversee production to identify any production or equipment issues
• Optimization of the production process, perform troubleshooting
• Train new personnel on company standards, procedures, safety and plant equipment
• Cross-train personnel and rotate employees regularly
• Evaluate staff performance and organize training
• Maintain all production documentation, records, and reports
• Discipline production team members pursuant to the progressive discipline process set forth in the Employee Handbook
• Responsible for recommending performance based disciplinary action of production team members to management

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

**Must have experience in or knowledge of the Automotive Industry**

• At least 3 years in a leadership role
• 3+ years of experience as a frontline, production supervisor
• Experience with equipment control techniques (machine setup), and knowledge of the metric system
• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully multi task in a fast paced environment
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Decision-making skills
• Experience in coaching, training, and developing staff
• Teamwork and flexibility
• Excellent attendance record
• Excellent communication skills via email, phone, and personal contact with all levels of the organization
• Must have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• High level of discretion, confidentiality and work ethics
• Ability to work overtime including weekends as required
• Ability to work any shift as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.50 per hour
