NON-INVASIVE CARDIOVASCULAR/EKG TECHNICIAN I (PT; 8hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Chestnut Hill Hospital

JOB SUMMARY

• Performs complete testing.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
• Work is primarily independent.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma - OR - GED

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS (MAY VARY BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS)

• Current BLS or obtained during introductory period

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequently (34-66% of the day)
• Sit, Stand, Walk Occasionally (0-33% of the day)
• Climb (steps, ladders, ramps, scaffolding, using feet/legs and/or hands/arms)
• Bend (at the waist; must have full use of legs and back muscles)
• Squat (bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine)
• Kneel (bend at the knees to come to rest on knee or knees), Push/pull (up to 350 lbs.)
• Lifting 10 lbs. maximum & occasionally lifting &/or carrying objects
• Lifting 20 lbs. maximum & frequent lifting &/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum & frequent lifting &/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Lifting 100 lbs. maximum & frequent lifting &/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
