The duties of the Lead Nuclear Med Tech include:

• Responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
• Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department.
• Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.

This is a Full-Time (working 64 hour per pay period) position, 8 hour varied shifts and located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

New Hire Incentive available up to $8,000 for those who qualify.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• CNMT.
• Venipuncture.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience
• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
