Location Information
Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Responsibilities
Has 24 hour responsibility for managing/ensuring quality care for Residents and provides ongoing customer service to families. Mentors staff in providing care and maintains compliance with government regulations has overall responsibility for the clinical management of the patients.
Education: Current Minnesota Registered Nurse Licensure in good standings. Certification s a Geriatric Nurse desired. Current CPR Certification preferred.
Experience: At least five years’ experience as a registered nurse preferred, especially experience in long term care. Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role is required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Knowledge of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrates abilities to participate in and collaborate with groups.
- Ability to positively manage and communicate with the Interdisciplinary team. Mentor staff with emphasis on the “Petals of Care” and caring for TCU patient.
- High level of commitment in providing customer service through rounding and availability to patients, families and staff.
- Demonstrates effective leadership abilities.
- Possesses time management/prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software.
- Maintains current licensure as Registered Nurse with the Minnesota State Board of Nurse Examiners.
