The Nurse will perform teaching on:
- Various disease processes.
- Signs and symptoms.
- Teach medications and medication administration(uses, side effects, dosages, interactions, and warnings.
- Instruct client, family, and caregiver on preventative disease measures.
- coach on healthy lifestyle and nutrition.
Patient Care Responsibilities:
- Nurse will perform treatments as ordered by Physician.
- Nurse will assist in the coordination of team members and communicate with the said team in a timely manner.
- Nurse can teach caregivers and family to assist as appropriate.
- Nurse will observe, teach utilize universal precautions and utilize sterile procedures at all times.
- Nurse will perform head-to-toe assessment every visit.
- Nurse will communicate, dress, and act in a professional manner at all times.
- Nurse will write and turn in all notes in a timely manner.
- Nurse will communicate appropriately with all team members at all times.
- Nurse will perform all tasks within Medicare guidelines and within company policy guidelines.
- Nurse will perform and record vital signs per visit.
- Nurse will teach on parameters per visit.
- Nurse will report any abnormal findings ASAP.
- Nurse will report any finding of abuse, neglect, and exploitation to proper authorities.
- Nurse will adhere to laws that protect the privacy of all patients.
- The nurse will put patients' welfare and safety first.
- Nurse will respect patients' right to choose even if ama.
