As a Customer Service Representative in our Routing Order Team, you will be responsible for working with assigned overseas clients in tracking shipments, sending status updates, and providing general account support.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Freight Forwarding / Transportation (Ocean Imports) is preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin Chinese is a big plus!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and confirm bookings for overseas customers
• Communicate and coordinate with OEC origin port offices for booking arrangements
• Track customer shipments, confirm freight release status, verify customs clearance, cargo availability, support accounting in securing payments, and arrange door deliveries
• Maintain communication with other OEC teams
• Provide quotations for services to our customers and OEC origin offices
• Assist customers and OEC origin offices to sign POA (power of attorney) when OEC provides ISF/brokerage/continues bond service

Salary:

• $20-$26/hour based on education and experience level.
