Job description
We are real estate management company in Chicago that is currently seeking an Office Assistant with background in property management.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry and invoicing
- Managing rent collections and tenants notices
- Communicating with tenants and third parties to address maintenance needs
- Communicating with tenants for past due payments
- Managing lease renewals
- Processing applications and conduct credit checks
- Preparing and managing lease documents
- Processing move-ins and move-outs of residents
- Maintaining our property management database
- Investigating and helping to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Education, Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in business, management or real estate)
- Previous experience in property management or real estate preferred
- Basic bookkeeping skills
- YARDI experience is a plus but not necessary, we will train
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- Chicago, IL 60613: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
