Seeking a Full Time Rehab Tech for the Therapy Department at Olivia Nursing and Rehabilitation in Olivia, MN. Seeking a Tech willing to split between Olivia, Franklin and Wabasso MN.

The Rehabilitation Technician assists clinicians in patient treatments including exercise and modalities set up and application. Assists in maintaining clean patient environment in compliance with infection control policy. Assists with telehealth treatments and provides assistance to the DOR as needed.

Major Duties

• Verbalizes a clear understanding of continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction measures and actively participates in improvement initiatives.
• Assist patient with exercises to ensure that they are done safely and properly under direct supervision of therapists.
• Communicates patients’ status clearly and effectively to therapist as needed.
• Ensures compliance with infection control policy by cleaning all mats and equipment after each patient.
• Attends and participates in department staff meetings.
• Performs weekly and monthly cleaning tasks to maintain compliance with infection control policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the organization.

Education/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Preferred:

• Understanding of role of therapy and services provided in SNF setting as well as skills specific to working with this patient population.

Required:

• High school diploma, GED equivalent.
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and ability to learn new skills quickly.
