Job description
We are seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator for a 6-month contract with the likelihood of extension or permanent hire for an opportunity in Miami, FL. The Email Marketing Coordinator will help us build, optimize, and scale our Email marketing programs to drive growth, engagement, and overall performance attributed to these efforts. Reporting to the Director of Email Marketing, you'll be responsible for the day to day execution, HTML coding, and deployment of our B2C and B2B email marketing campaigns.The ideal candidate is both technical and creative: confident building complex dynamic campaigns in an enterprise level email development platform as well as interpreting creative briefs to recommend new and innovative approaches to email campaigns that work in parallel to streamline design, execution, and optimization efforts.
We're looking for someone who has shown success in driving channel engagement and incremental purchase behavior through email marketing and is excited by the prospect of improving the channel through data-driven automation and content optimization. An ideal candidate is someone who can think strategically about message content, audience targeting, user experience and the technical requirements needed to execute against those areas.
Email Marketing Coordinator
Execute, design and develop email marketing campaigns based on ad-hoc requests and planned deployments according to the Email Marketing calendar and assignment sheet
Manage campaign brief intake process to ensure completeness of request prior to task initiation or campaign kick-off
Ensure proper campaign set-up in Cheetah Marketing Suite aligning creative, promotional details, and all links aligned with actual request per Project Manager assigned to each campaign
Coordinate with CRM team to confirm proper campaign segmentation and audience selection, versioning/testing applied as intended, and prioritization of new initiatives into current workflow
Test and QA campaign HTML configuration and set-up and route for proofing and approval by PM, Key stakeholder(s) and CRM team for all sends/automations before scheduling.
Communicate key learnings from campaign execution process to continue to streamline operational procedure to improve efficiencies and maximize productivity of the local email marketing team
Work closely with Director, Email Marketing and Director, Global CRM to make improvements to email templates, campaign configuration & data architecture, and to optimize email campaigns to drive continually evolving email strategies and recommendations based on results and observed successes/pain points
Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email and omni-channel marketing to handle other email marketing related duties as assigned
Email Marketing Coordinator
You have 3-5 years of experience in Consumer or B2B email marketing focused on the development and execution of CRM/Lifecycle, Engagement, or Retention email marketing (Bonus if in the Travel/Hospitality/Cruise industry).
You have extensive expertise coding, testing, and deploying email marketing campaigns using enterprise level Email Service Providers such Cheetah Digital, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Responsys, or similar.
Understand CAN-SPAM/CCPA/GDPR requirements and inbox deliverability standards and email design best practices. Familiarity with Inbox Preview/Render checking tools like Validity Everest, ReturnPath, Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are adept at partnering with many stakeholders to produce campaigns in a fast-moving environment.
Problem solver with the ability to make recommendations in a structured, professional manner to business stakeholders from varied functions and at all levels of the organization.
Experience with project and status tracking tools (Wrike, JIRA, Asana, or similar) and maintaining accurate project status recaps to ensure on track or proactive identification of at-risk campaign deployments.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with proven ability to transform how work gets done across marketing and sales teams.
Accountability to deliver high quality work and proactive willingness to share new ideas with peers and leadership.
Bachelor's Degree in Brand, Strategic, or Digital Marketing/Marketing Technology related fields required with applicable certifications in relevant platform/vendor specific technical credentials preferred
