JTG is currently seeking an experienced Open Source Trainer to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Northern Virginia area. The Trainer is responsible for managing and overseeing all training.This position is contingent upon contract award.
Location: Reston, VA
Status: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Train contract personnel on the adaptation of new open source tools and IT workflow as directed, such as Human Language Technology (HLT), web scraping, or any other tools used in the act of or support of open source collection
- Create and facilitate appropriate training courses required for personnel to perform job related functions, and to maintain or upgrade skills to stay current in technology and required competency levels
- Establish periodic and advanced training objectives for all personnel
- Identify personnel skills gaps and develop and conduct courses designed for those personnel skill gaps through custom training or commercially available training
- Maintain training records for all personnel
- Provide training both in-person or online
- Identify training needs
- U.S. citizenship
- Possess relevant subject matter expertise and experience in conducting training
- Knowledge of intelligence tradecraft methods
- Prior experience working with OSINT and intelligence tradecraft
- Experience with Human Language Technology tools, CAT tools, machine translation
- Experience working with open source collection tools
- Clearance is a plus
