Summary
The Operations Security Transfer Associate is responsible for processing security transfers and providing operational support to branch management and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inputs receipt of securities and negotiable paperwork information into the client account database using the BETA System and DTCC access.
- Procures all required paperwork from branch to complete processing of transfers.
- Assists branch with inquiries regarding transfer and any required corrections.
- Ensures the security transfers orders comply with Security regulations and the firm’s policies and practices.
- Receives, reviews, and approves Transfer on Death designations.
- Processes Transfer on Death Distributions.
- Assists other areas of the department with various functions when volume is high or staffing levels are down.
- Responsible for completing assigned tasks within the departments established timeframes.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn general understanding of rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department.
- Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines.
- Able to handle large workload that varies based on projects and heavy volume periods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office including Word & Excel with a general understanding of the BETA System and DTCC access.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience required, 1+ years of similar work experience preferred.

Minimum Required: None
Systems and Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
