FlexStaff is hiring for its client, Northwell Health, New York State’s largest private employer and healthcare provider, to work at any of their 20+ hospitals, 890 outpatient locations and various offices located across Long Island and the New York area.

We are hosting an interview day (in-person and virtual) on Wednesday, May 17, in Lake Success and Melville for the following job titles:

· OR RN

· Labor & Delivery RN

· Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

· Patient Care Associate (PCA)

Please review the qualifications below to see if your background meets the requirements for any of these positions:

· Operating Room (OR) RN

o 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room nurse

o BSN degree and an active NYS license require

o Compliant with all necessary licenses and certifications (ACLS, BCLS, etc.)

· Labor & Delivery RN

o 2+ years of experience as a Labor & Delivery nurse

o BSN degree and an active NYS license require

o Compliant with all necessary licenses and certifications (ACLS, BCLS, etc.)

o NRP, NCC EFM-C, AWHONN certificates

· Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)*

o High School diploma or equivalent

o Successful completion of a Nurse Assistant program

o Certified by New York State Department of Health; maintains standing in State Nurse Assistant Registry

o Minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience in hospital, rehab, or sub-acute facility

o Heart Saver Certification, preferred

· Patient Care Associate (PCA)*

o High School diploma or equivalent

o Nursing Assistant Certificate with proficiency in performing EKG and phlebotomy

o Minimum one (1) year of direct patient care experience

* Current Northwell Health CNAs and PCAs are not eligible to apply – recruiting candidates from outside the Northwell Health system for these two roles.
