Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all non-produce controlled freight discrepancies received into all divisions.

• Communicating disposition to all relevant internal/external departments including Vendor, Carriers, Procurement and Warehouses regarding disposition.

• Monitor and maintain all damaged products in the “hold” area in all warehouses. • Calculate the cost of goods and all relevant freight expenses.

• Document all paperwork for future scanning and enter data into the Transportation Management System to protect any disputes of charges.

• Record all claim information for reporting.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to process over, short and damage claims timely and accurately • Must be detail oriented

• Must be able to research and solve problems

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of transportation or logistics, and claims experience helpful • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
