The Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine is seeking a Full-Time or Part Time Osteopath

Integrative Functional Medicine practice in McLean, VA, specializing in complex medical conditions, is looking for a board-certified osteopathic physician with a background in functional medicine to join our team. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in prolotherapy and/or PRP.

We believe in a functional medicine approach to treating patient with the goal of addressing the underlying conditions and not just masking symptoms. You would be an integral part of a comprehensive team that includes physicians, nurse practitioner, physical therapists, acupuncturist, psychotherapist, dietician and nurses. Our medical director, being a DO himself, understands and values how the Osteopathic approach utilizing OMM is fundamental to helping patients heal. The team meets bi-weekly to discuss current patients, coordinate care and share treatment recommendations because we believe that each member of the team is essential and offers unique insight.

As a fee-for-service practice, we are not bound by insurance guidelines or restrictions. Your schedule would arrange for you to spend 30-60 minutes with each patient, permitting time to listen and talk with them about their concerns, medical history and health goals. The extended time allows for a non-rushed, more comprehensive approach to treating the whole patient. A typical day would have you seeing 10-13 patient

We are seeking a physician with strong diagnostic skills, in-depth knowledge of the body’s biomechanics and neuromuscular structure, experience practicing osteopathic medicine an understanding of the role of mind-body medicine in treating chronic illness and an appreciation of the power of working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Most importantly, we are looking for a doctor who will be excited about the chance to work in a team setting where it is possible to provide outstanding care to patients.
