About The Position


You will be responsible for outside sales to continue to grow the business in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

This position requires a wide range of skills from business development to excellent customer service. In this role you will develop new accounts and expand the presence of Sofo Foods in the leader of providing excellent products to restaurants in the Indianapolis area as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers.


If you have experience in business development and selling within the restaurant industry, we would love to consider you for the role.

Job Requirements:

  • Calling on existing and prospective restaurant customers.
  • Managing accounts and generating sales growth.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
  • Conducting product demonstrations with customers.
  • Creating business plans based on a customer’s needs and sales objectives.

About You

  • Outside consultative sales experience with continuous repeat customers.
  • Working knowledge of food service sales and the restaurant industry.
  • Proven track record of prospecting and opening new customer accounts.
  • Analytical ability to develop and execute business plans to generate sales growth.
  • Self-motivation to sell to meet sales goals.
  • Computer skills – word processing, spreadsheets and data entry.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Marketing related.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test.
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, dependable vehicle and auto insurance coverage.
