Job description
Best Logistics Group is seeking a highly motivated sales professional that will seek and identify sales leads and pitch services to new clients with focuses on our fleet & brokerage environments. This person will build key client relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals while maintaining knowledge of current transportation market conditions.
What does the position require?
- Generate and develop new business opportunities
- Negotiate, build, and maintain long-term partnerships with both new and existing clients
- Generate leads by cold calling potential clients, understanding client needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Best Logistics Group’s products and services
- Close new business and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets set forth by management
- Make timely and professional decisions while maintaining service standards and profitably
- Communicate promptly and efficiently, providing clear, concise, and consistent status updates, with external clients as well as internal support teams
