Job Description:
To provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative. To park and return guests vehicles promptly, courteously and safely.
Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:


  • Greet and welcome guests to the Hotel
  • To assist in the transport and storage of guests’ luggage
  • Park guest’s vehicles
  • Retrieve guest’s vehicles
  • To properly “log” all trips originating from the “Bell Stand.”
  • Knowledge about daily events happening within each hotel.
  • Responsible for a clean and “smart” appearance of uniforms.
  • Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the front drive and lobby area.
  • Interact with every guest using Omni Standards.
  • Fully understand and implement “Moments of Service”.
  • Call taxi for guests as needed.
  • Direct guests to the Front Desk.
  • Inform leaders of any challenges in the process.
  • Accept other special duties as required by management.
  • Assist guests with luggage when necessary
  • Complete Daily Valet Log
  • Display ability to complete vehicle inspection and vehicle tagging
  • Accept other special duties as required by management
  • Display the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
  • Display ability to provide guests with local and hotel activities and information
  • Demonstrate proper Omni phone answering standards
Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

  • Ensure cleanliness of bell closets, bell carts and house cars
  • Answer phones using the proper “Moments of Service” scenario.
  • Follows proper gratuity procedures.
  • Maintains proper posting/lobby positions
Tools and Equipment:

  • Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, facsimile machine
  • Bell Stand and Bell-Carts

Working Environment:

  • Interior and on occasion exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, training and organizational skills
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude and performance
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Candidates must be able to speak fluent English
  • Must be able to cross utilize as Valet Driver
    • Must be 19 years of age or older with a clean MVR and 1+ year as a licensed driver
    • Must have Florida or Georgia License in Good Standing
    • Must be able to pass Drug Screen
