- Opportunity: Full-time Packager at our Tonawanda, NY facility
- Shift: 8 hour shift (3:30 pm - 11:30 pm),
- Wages: $17.50/hour with $0.25 extra per hour for working 2nd shift/line 3.

Job Scope: The Packager will be responsible for maintaining efficient flow of unfinished goods to the wrapper. Additionally, the Packager will assist in insuring effective operation of the chutes. They are responsible for quality control of product through the stages under his or her control, maintaining communication with other employees, maintenance, lead people and supervisors, and working safely and effectively under the direction of the shift lead person and supervisor.
Position will rotate every half hour with the exception of the “merge” position which will rotate every 15 minutes. Rotation will be as follows:
Chutes Inspection Packing, box spot or making lids when needed Merge Extra people (not in rotation) Change Overs (not in rotation)
Break time and relief will be determined by Supervisor on duty.
Changeovers Miscellaneous Occasional stacking of boxes/cases due to equipment malfunction or staffing issues Good housekeeping and following all good manufacturing practices Make safety top priority Adjust rails and conveyor belts must be wiped down Assisting other personnel as required or directed Any reasonable job or task assigned by a lead person or supervisor (ie: blowing out machines, housekeeping, etc.)
Proper Lockout/Tag Out must be followed when required.
