Details: Packer - Penn Yan, NY
- $17.25 to $17.75/hr. Temp to Hire.
- Day Shift (7 am to 7 pm,) rotating schedules.
- Overnights (7 pm to 7 am) rotating schedule.
Below are some benefits of a 2-2-3 schedule:
- Only work 180 days a year.
- Never have to work more than 3 days in a row.
- 3-day weekend, every other weekend
- Every other week, you earn Overtime.
- Stable and predictable schedule
- Days off on weekdays, so you don’t need to waste PTO on appointments.
What does a typical day look like for this position? You’ll be:
- Loading bundles of boxes into machines.
- Stacking cases on pallets and loading them onto conveyors.
- Operating Machines (labeler, ink-jet printer, box erector, case packer, etc.).
- Using wrenches & pallet jacks.
- Manually cleaned equipment and assisted with the overall cleanliness of products and work areas.
- Ensuring compliance with all quality standards.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this role will have...
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- The ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to work extended periods of time standing.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Six months to a year of food industry experience - Preferred.
