- Responsible for carrying out instructions and assignments given the employee by supervisor in an efficient manner
- Ability to work from work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and supervisor instructions
- Perform all tasks within safety guidelines.
- Material handling of detail, and assembled parts. Perform tasks as required to move parts, to attach parts to conveyor components as instructed, remove parts from conveyor components, attach adhesive parts together. Match parts - to part numbers, keep counts and identification correctly as required. Handling parts per general procedures and to specified quality requirements.
- Perform minor painting rework as required to detail parts and components to permit proper assembly
- Make adjustments or improvements to components involving cleaning, identifying, spot painting as required and positioning for delivery.
- Responsible for helping to maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned by lead person or department team leader
- Must have the ability to operate fork lift truck
- Must be 18
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must be a team player, organized and self-motivated.
- Must be able to prioritize.
- Some basic computer knowledge is recommended
- Experienced in the industrial environment.
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.
- Have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to gain knowledge and experience in a production setting.
- Overhead work - Must have the ability to lift and take down parts (50 lbs) that are a minimum of 67” high from the floor
