Job Summary: Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

These are hourly, non-exempt, full-time positions. Se Habla Español.

Work Shift:

1st Shift: 10 am – 6:30 pm

Pay: $15.20

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following (may vary by customer):

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Removes pallets from a trailer, stacks them and clean trailer with a pallet jack
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (e.g. Dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• May move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truck
• Execute proper use of all equipment
• Clean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (e.g. rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets)
• Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specifications

Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements

Experience:

• Must successfully pass a background check and may be required to pass a drug test depending on the location being serviced
• Building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance work

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Regular day, evenings and nights, including weekends and holidays (schedule and hours of work will depend on assignment)

• Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet and/ or uneven surfaces
