										Job description
      Catawba Hospital is seeking an individual to work as a switchboard operator in the Hospital’s Communication Center. Duties include answering and forwarding incoming calls, greeting visitors, distributing and metering mail, photocopying, and monitoring emergency response/communication systems. This position also includes maintaining database management systems. Successful applicant will be scheduled various hours between 7:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.
     
 
    
      Minimum Qualifications
     
 
     
      High School Diploma Database management experience Previous switchboard experience
     
 
    
      Preferred Qualifications
     
 
     
      Previous experience in switchboard operations, receptionist position, emergency communications or mailroom operations preferred.
