Part-Time Maintenance Worker

As a Part-time Maintenance Worker in the City of Salisbury, you can make a difference! The City is seeking motivated candidates who will assist with year round maintenance of Salisbury Community Park. This position has a flexible schedule that allows for weekend only work, or work during the week (Monday – Friday). The Part-time Maintenance Worker will be responsible for removing trash from cans and on grounds, cleaning restrooms, opening and/or closing of the park, working with athletic tournaments, other grounds maintenance activities, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid NC Driver’s License
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• May be required to work after normal business hours, in on-call and emergency situations
• Ability to work for extended periods of time in all types of weather

Closing Date: Open until filled
Salary range: $11.00 hour

$500.00 sign-on bonus after 90 hours worked in the first 90 days.
