Kimberton Whole Foods Commissary is hiring a part-time Prep Cook!
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.
Availability: This is a daytime position between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm. Frequent availability is needed on Sundays.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
Location: Kimberton Whole Foods Distribution Center/Commissary Kitchen.

Pay Range: $15.00-17.00 an hour
Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.
Essential Duties:
The essentials of this position are food preparation and packaging of high volume organic scratch recipes to be sold in our six locations. This includes the following:
- Preparing vegetables for all pre-made soup and processing soup to be chilled.
- Package, price, label and assemble prepared foods.
- Hands on prep and production of entire grab and go line.
- Fulfill store orders and make ready for delivery.
- Use of necessary equipment (Robot Coupe, Meat Slicer, etc.).
Qualifications:
- High volume commercial kitchen production experience is preferable.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred.
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of safety requirements in a kitchen.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 pounds, and be able to juggle multiple priorities during busy times.

Must be self motivated, solution oriented and love people. Must have an eye for detail, ability to work well with others, and convey enthusiasm, love and knowledge of natural foods.
