The opportunity…
Structures, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Structural CAD/Revit Drafter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and commercial drafting to develop foundation and framing plans, and all the details necessary to produce construction and permit documents.

• Prepare engineering drawings of plans, elevations, cross sections and details of structures from rough sketches and/or from engineering library
• Perform design/drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques
• Perform other duties as required (coordination with engineers, other drafters etc).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow and take ownership of projects. Ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, organized, and is able to manage time and multi-task in a fluid environment.

All candidates must be local, and able to work from our office in Newport Beach.

Skills you bring to the table…

• Extensive AutoCad and some Revit experience (This is a MUST!)
• At least 5 years of relevant structural drafting experience (foundation plans, framing plans, shoring, structural sections, details and notes)
• Ability to read structural and architectural plans to provide structural detailing
• Knowledge of wood, steel and concrete construction
• Excellent attention to detailing of complex structural components
• Architectural drafting experience is a plus
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Planning and organizational skills to manage timelines and deliverables for multiple project deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Design or Drafting is preferred
• Ability to work both independently, as well as, part of a team
