Job description

• Performs teller transactions in a timely, accurate and friendly manner.
• Provides assistance to members opening and servicing personal and business deposit accounts.
• Assist in the consumer loan process, including originating and closing consumer.
• Delivers consultative service to members with enthusiasm and sincerity.
• Builds strong relationships with new and existing members that lead to sales, cross sales referrals. Identifies member needs and aligns products and services that help achieve their financial goals.
• Performs all duties in compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Attends community events on behalf of the Credit Union
• Attends all office/departmental training sessions and organizational meetings.
• Fills in and performs position duties at other offices as needed.
• Occasionally travel between offices as needed.

Prerequisites

• Demonstrated accuracy and competence in basic math skills and cash handling
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone, in person and in written format
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and basic office equipment
• Established success in maximizing sales and service opportunities
• Lending experience preferred but not required
• A High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
