Job Title: Weekend Receptionist

Job Summary:
As the weekend receptionist at Asbury Care Center Village of Richardson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our residents, their families, and all visitors who come to our skilled nursing facility. You will serve as the first point of contact for all guests, ensuring they are greeted warmly and assisted promptly. Additionally, you will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations in our front office.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet all visitors to the facility, including residents, families, and guests
Answer incoming phone calls, transfer calls, and take messages as needed
Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars for the facility
Handle and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times
Monitor and maintain the sign-in/out log for all visitors
Collect and process payments for services rendered, as needed
Coordinate with other departments within the facility to ensure efficient communication and operations
Provide general administrative and clerical support to other staff members, as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with a variety of individuals
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software programs
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous receptionist or administrative assistant experience in a healthcare or senior living facility
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and/or medical billing software
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
