General Function:
This position involves the focused development of HP personal systems group (desktops, laptops, etc.) business by pro-actively working with inside and outbound sales teams to qualify new business and increase awareness of HP solutions. This role will be responsible for HP product and services quota attainment and reporting on a regular basis to keep senior management apprised of progress toward goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying and driving HP desktop, laptop, workstation and retail POS business within prospective and existing client-base in coordination with the outbound sales and marketing teams.
  • Increase HP solutions awareness within sales and delivery organizations.
  • Actively work with sales and partner management teams to leverage special OEM programs.
  • Proactively assess market opportunities and trends.
  • Facilitate national and regional relationship development between our company and HP teams.
  • Execute on demand generating activities and marketing programs
  • Facilitate training to Pomeroy sales teams

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong business management background
  • Strong solution sales skills
  • End-user sales experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Highly-competitive and motivated personality
  • Significant HP desktop, laptop, and workstation experience - 2+ years of Personal Computer sales/background
  • Able to lead, motivate and educate partner colleagues in various formats and presentations.
  • Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influence skills

General office environment
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
