Job Summary

The Patient Coordinator is our frontline business administration professional for dental practice and presents as a positive, caring, patient-centered voice to promote practice growth through contributing to effective business initiatives and patient satisfaction. Daily goals are achieved primarily by supplying friendly and accurate information to callers for scheduling, financial arrangements, and payment collections, from patients and insurance providers, following the clinical team's exam notes and directions at checkout, and ensuring compliance of office personnel on company policy regarding collection procedures. The Patient Coordinator is also responsible management of relationships with insurance carriers while completing insurance verifications, processing insurance claims, and validating coverage determinations and outstanding balances.

Qualifications Required

  • High School, GED, or HiSET diploma
  • Accurate typing at 40+ words per minute
  • One to Two years of office experience,
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards
