Overview

This role will be supporting our collections efforts. Our collections efforts are a critical piece of our business. In this capacity you will engage our existing clients and work with them to find a path forward so they can resume their payments and legal services. This is also a highly cross-functional role and you will work with our product, R&D and marketing teams to develop products and client communications to improve our collections efforts. Creativity, excellent client engagement skills and persistence are a must.

Please note this is a hybrid role; Mondays and Fridays remote, Tuesday-Thursday in-office in the Scottsdale area.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain collection efforts on past due accounts by reaching out to clients, providing a great client experience and finding creative solutions to improve our collections efforts
• Track collection progress in a neat and organized manner and present data and learnings to key internal stakeholders to inform future product, marketing and strategy efforts
• Work closely with the product and other teams to shape the future design of our internal and external software
• Report blockers and propose improvements that will help reduce collection risk and increase overall recovery rate

Who You Are:

• 1-2+ years of work experience in sales ops, billing/collections/accounts receivable, or business development capacity, preferably within a high-growth startup environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to design and deliver effective communications that translate into desired results
• Ability to instantly build rapport, even over an email or phone call
• Passion to contribute and work in a highly collaborative environment and ability to work cross-functionally
• Proactive self-starter who thrives on getting things done
• BA degree preferred
