Description:

We are looking for an efficient Remote US Payroll and Benefits Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of employee payment and explaining and implementing employees' benefits packages. The Payroll and Benefits Administrator ensures that all employees receive accurate paychecks in a timely manner while also ensuring that taxes and other deductions are taken out correctly and coordinate daily operations of employee benefit programs.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of multi-state payroll laws, and overall compensation benefits. The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is expected to understand multi-state laws and regulations pertaining to employee compensation and ensure we adhere to such standards He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of payroll, HR projects and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using full cycle payroll, HRIS and tools.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

Key Responsibilities*

  • Verify and process employee Time & Labor data to payroll, reconcile variances and approve if needed.
  • Provide training (i.e., managers, field personnel) for time keeping and payroll procedures to ensure compliance and full utilization of tools.
  • Monitor and resolve absence issues and concerns.
  • Calculate and prepare commission statements.
  • Generate weekly payroll or bi-weekly payroll which includes but not limited to; re/creating spreadsheets, upload csv. files, enter retro benefit deductions, garnishment payments and other payroll deductions, confirm payroll cycle, and pull payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, such as minimum wage requirements, overtime pay, and child labor laws.
  • Respond and resolve internal employee inquiries relating to timesheets, pay stubs, payroll and benefits related matters.
  • Regulate and manage PTO and Sick Pay guidelines and policies.
  • Responsible for staying up to date on local, state and federal changes then updating payroll, time and labor, deduction and rate tables as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the human resources department to maintain employee data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
