The Business Services Unit provides critical administrative support to the Operations Support Services Division (OSSD), allowing the team to fulfill its commitment to CalPERS.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst or Associate Governmental Program Analyst will serve as the PC Contact. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Acts as Personal Computer (PC) contact for OSSD and coordinates with the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) and OSSD staff, as required, to complete procurements and resolve issues for PCs and printers.
  • Determines appropriate user access for each OSSD role and maintains Division’s user access profiles.
  • Serves as the Division Furniture Contact (DFC) who works with the Space Planning unit to coordinate office and team member relocations and moves for OSSD team members.
  • Assists in a Property Custodian role for OSSD for ongoing tracking and regular inventories of OSSD property items.

  • Demonstrated ability to act independently, open-mindedness, flexibility, and tact
  • Ability to follow detailed directions, provide recommendations, and a potential course of action to management based on analysis
  • Ability to provide quality customer service and work cooperatively with CalPERS staff and/or contractors
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Modern office methods and equipment, including experience with personal computers utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,534.00 - $6,907.00 per month
