The successful Printed Circuit Board Specialist candidate will be comfortable using a computer and confident in their ability to:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics and/or experience working in a similar capacity
  • Proven track of experience in soldering with various types of IC packages such as BGA, CSP, CBGA, LGA, MLF, PGA, QFN, QFP, SOIC, S Replace and re-work BGA and Non-BGA micro-electronic components using automated and hand soldering equipment
  • Work from data sheets, schematics, diagrams, and/or verbal instructions to assemble and test RF circuits and systems. Use manual and automated soldering equipment
  • Rework and make repairs to PCBs in a fast-paced environment in order to ensure on time product release dates
  • Have a high comfort level in handling and placing surface mount components (micro components) with physical sizes as small as 0201
  • Be comfortable using a microscope in order to place micro components while soldering
  • Produce assembled PCBs per industry quality standards Place orders for components necessary to assemble and rework evaluation boards and general lab supplies. Keep track of component inventory, lead times, ordering information, etc. Identify low inventories and order if/when necessary.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a multi-group, multi-product environment
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and excellent record keeping abilities
  • Have a high comfort level for performing in a work environment where priorities are constantly changing
