Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Job description
Personal Care Assistance (PCA) to assist special education teachers meet the individualized needs of students inside and outside the special education classroom. PCA provides direct support to students in completing activities of daily living, (e.g. grooming, toileting, dressing, escorting, feeding, etc.) and provide direct assistance for students to complete daily IEP goals such as communication, functional living skills (e.g. cooking, vacuuming, laundry, etc.) as well as support students’ behavioral needs as well. PCA works under the direct supervision of the special education teacher and campus administrator.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.42 - $23.28 per hour
