A Day in the Life of PT

• Show passion, purpose, caring and coaching — qualities that make a far greater impact on clients than a trainer’s bicep
• Demonstrate a strong desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through all appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercises
• Excel at member service and retention by building strong member relationships and delivering excellence through quality, cutting-edge programming that is safe and achieves members goals
• Dedicated to self-awareness, personal growth and development with regard to personal health, fitness and mental capacity

Physical Demands & Certification:

• High school diploma or GED
• Four-year degree in exercise science, sports medicine, or another related field preferred

• One-year personal training experience preferred

• Current certification from a nationally recognized organization is preferred
• Current approved CPR & AED certifications
• Must be able to effectively demonstrate recommended exercises and may be required to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. - physical activity may include sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, crawling, pulling and extensively reaching at heights above floor level required.
