Job description
Join the Cleveland Clinic team at our Willoughby Hills Family Health Center and experience healthcare at its very best. Work alongside a talented team of physicians, nurses and other caregivers who are advancing the standard for exceptional patient care.
As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician, you play an essential role in keeping patients safe and comfortable during their outpatient experience. Your ability to work efficiently and pay close attention to detail helps facilitate a positive, streamlined patient experience.
As a Pharmacy Technician in the flagship outpatient pharmacy for Cleveland Clinic, you will:
Assist in the compounding lab.
Assist the bedside delivery team.
Enter new prescriptions.
Fill prescriptions.
Interact with patients and providers.
Measure for compression garments.
Operate the robotic dispensing system.
Perform curbside medication delivery.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment. Pharmacy fills average between 800 to 1,000 prescriptions each day, so you need to work efficiently and independently. A positive attitude and desire to collaborate with a team are must-haves. Previous outpatient or community pharmacy experience is preferred.
You’ll receive guidance from pharmacists and other caregivers who are at the top of their fields. Broaden your skill set with advanced training in non-sterile compounding. Many of our Pharmacy Technicians advance into other roles within Cleveland Clinic, such as Lead Pharmacy Technicians.
Cleveland Clinic provides what matters most: career growth, delivering world-class care to our patients, continuous learning, exceptional benefits and working for an organization that offers many long-term career paths. Join us and experience a culture where opportunities to advance and the support to get there go hand-in-hand.
