Job Summary:
The WEB Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist Manager of the WEB Pharmacy and/or the staff pharmacist on duty in performing routine and non-routine activities associated with the WEB Pharmacy.
Minimum Qualifications: Education High school diploma.
Licensure/ Certification:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of employment
- Pharmacy technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required. Experience Two years experience as a retail pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of drug names, medical terminology.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer service to teammates, patients, supervisors and providers.
- Attention to detail and a good work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficient with MS Office and able to learn new pharmacy software rapidly.
• Ability to tolerate latex products and exposure to hazardous drugs. • Ability to stand or walk on uncarpeted floors and work in close conditions for duration of shift.
