This position is a part-time position of approximately 16 hours per week (.4FTE), located in the Missoula, Montana office and is an on-site position. This position may also be PRN status (as needed) depending upon the schedule of the successful candidate._*

Our Pharmacy Technician...Under the direction of a pharmacist, assists with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, pharmacy record keeping, patient tracking, quality assurance procedures and documentation, durable medical equipment (DME) monitoring and control, delivery of supplies and equipment to Partners Solutions customers, pulling supplies for patients, filling prescriptions, and mixing IV medications, including antibiotics, TPNs and chemotherapies.

  • Under the supervision of the pharmacist, performs compounding of parenteral admixtures including, but not limited to, antibiotics, TPN, pain management, and chemotherapies, as ordered. Uses sterile techniques in accordance with Partners Solutions protocol.
  • Maintains clean rooms in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800.
  • Supports pharmacy activities by setting up compounding supplies, completing compounding documentation, and maintaining inventory records.
  • Under pharmacist supervision, pulls medical-surgical stock for delivery to Solutions patients and assists with the coordination of patient dispensing and delivery schedules. Delivers products and supplies as needed, in a timely and accurate manner. Picks up supplies and DME as needed.
  • Maintains pharmacy records including required dispensing records.
  • Cleans, tests, tracks and documents durable medical equipment.
  • Orders medication and supplies, tracks inventory, and maintains required records. Assists with inventory control.
  • Stocks pharmacy inventory and maintains area in a clean, organized manner.
  • Provides operational support to intake, nursing, management, billing and marketing.
  • Participates in the pharmacy quality assurance program.
  • Cleans work area routinely in accordance with policies and procedures and documents these activities.

Your Qualifications include... High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in a sterile compounding pharmacy preferred. Must hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician license from the PTCB along with current licensure from the State of Montana. Completion of Partners in Home Care Solutions technician training program for infusion therapy is also required during the first six months of employment. Current, valid Montana Driver's License and appropriate auto insurance are required.
