White River Valley High School is currently seeking a full time Physical Education teacher for the remainder of the 2022/23 school year. White River Valley High School is a small school serving the towns of Bethel and South Royalton as well as tuitioned students from surrounding towns. Applicants will need to enjoy working with adolescents and be able to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for students to foster and express their athletic abilities. We are looking for an individual with interests in athletics, physical fitness and overall wellness activities.A current Vermont Teachers license is not required but is preferred. The successful applicant will join an energetic and supportive team who strives to bring the best out of our students.Job RequirementsBachelors Degree (VT Physical Education Teachers License preferred)Plan and implement engaging age appropriate physical education activitiesAttend staff meetings and serve on staff committees as requiredFoster student interest in and understanding of physical educationEngage all students in skills aimed to increase each students growthPerform other duties as assigned by Principal or designee
